What an incredible day we had for our P-2 Sports Day! It was a day full of enthusiasm, teamwork, and fun as our youngest students participated in a range of exciting activities. From races and relays to high jumps and parachutes, our students brought their best energy and showed great sportsmanship. It was truly inspiring to see them embody our school values—respect, kindness, inclusion, and perseverance—at every turn.
The students cheered each other on, encouraged their teammates, and demonstrated how much they have grown in confidence and cooperation. We were proud to see each child demonstrate a positive "have a go" attitude, and celebrate their peers' successes. It was a beautiful reminder of what makes our school community so special.
A special thank you goes out to our outstanding Year 6 leaders who took charge and made the day run smoothly. Their dedication, leadership, and positivity shone brightly as they guided and supported the younger students in each activity. Your effort and enthusiasm were truly appreciated by everyone.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to all the parents, guardians, and community members who came to support the event. Whether you ran hurdles, the fun run or a sprint your presence and help made the day even more memorable for all the students.
Thank you once again for making our P-2 Sports Day a day to remember.

Our Foundation student were treated to a special end of year lunch at the Hands on Learning Café last week. They had their best table manners on and enjoyed a delicious lunch and dessert together – all prepared and served by the Hands on Learning Team. Special shout out to Allesha Gardner and Lisa Remine for co-ordinating this special event.

What a great way to celebrate 2025. The community spirit was live at our recent ‘family night’ celebration. Thanks for braving the weather and coming out to school for a night of great entertainment and the Art Show. We appreciate all the parents and students who came together to show case their singing and instrumental talents. We can’t wait to see what our show brings in 2026.

Our Year 6 students had an exciting and educational experience during their surfing days! The program was designed to teach the the students the essential ocean awareness and safe surfing skills, giving them the chance to embrace beach culture while developing confidence in the water and lifelong surfing abilities.
The students participated in two engaging sessions. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, they learned about ocean safety, surf etiquette, and how to manage themselves in the surf environment. Whether they were catching their first waves or improving their techniques, the students had a blast. The students showed great determination and teamwork, supporting each other as they took on the waves.
By the end of the two sessions, many students had newfound confidence and a deeper appreciation for the ocean.
A huge thank you to the instructors and staff who made the day so enjoyable, and to the students for their enthusiasm and commitment.dnts
