The Year 5 & 6 students have been completing their 'Kidpreneur Project' as part of our Economics and Business unit this term. This has involved working together with a small group of students, developing and marketing their product to the school community. The learning unit will conclude with a 'Friday Market' on the 11th of September at 3:00pm until 3:45pm. Over the coming weeks, students will advertise their products via our schools page and XUNO. This year, they are raising money for a school project of their own. With the ideas of the grade 6 student ambassadors, they will be using any donations to help support their cultural vegetable garden.

All families are welcome to attend the market and purchase any product they would like.

We can't wait to see you all there to celebrate our students hard work!

Lots of colourful art being created in the Artroom this term. We are working on the Elements of Art- focusing at this stage on Colour, Texture and Shape. Junior students have explored the work of Henri Matisse and the organic shapes in his work. Middle school students have played with texture in an oil pastel still life drawing on sandpaper. Senior students have looked at the work of artist Kimmy Cantrell to make their own abstract cardboard portraits.
