Merrivale Primary School

The Year 5 & 6 students have been completing their 'Kidpreneur Project' as part of our Economics and Business unit this term. This has involved working together with a small group of students, developing and marketing their product to the school community. The learning unit will conclude with a 'Friday Market' on the 11th of September at 3:00pm until 3:45pm. Over the coming weeks, students will advertise their products via our schools page and XUNO. This year, they are raising money for a school project of their own. With the ideas of the grade 6 student ambassadors, they will be using any donations to help support their cultural vegetable garden.

All families are welcome to attend the market and purchase any product they would like.

We can't wait to see you all there to celebrate our students hard work!

YEAR 6 CREWS: Our Year 6 Leaders are busy, organising projects around the school, during their first ‘Crew Time’ for Term 3!

Kerrie Nicholson, from Beyond the Bell, visited Merrivale Primary School today to deliver a copy of their Pathways: Local First Nations Education Information Kit to Jasmine, one of our First Nations Leaders, and Mrs Redpath. These kits will be used by staff and First Nations students to connect them to local information and services.

Mrs Redpath may have been wearing different colours today, but that certainly didn’t stop her from getting up early to support our Merrivale students! 😄

We are incredibly proud of the strong connections between our students, staff and families. When you join Merrivale Primary, you become part of something bigger – you become family. 💙

Congratulations to Charlie and Daniel who competed in the 3 minute prepared speech section at the Warrnambool Eisteddfod today. Charlie came 3rd and Daniel received a HM. 👏🏼
