So we set out on a mission to make education accessible and support instant to millions of business owners around the world. Given the scale of the problem we realised conventional thinking and existing methods based on one-to-one coaching, meet-ups or live events wasn’t going to cut it. We needed to think big and we needed to act bold. That’s when we turned to technology and our eureka moment happened. We said, “What if we built a machine that contained the collective intelligence of 1000 business experts. And what if that intelligence was put into an App and freely available to millions of business owners around the world? Now that would be cool!”

Well after 22-months of research, plans, content creation and software development, we are proud to officially launch BRiN – Your Personal Business Advisor. The first thing you need to know is that BRiN is a mobile app and she works on iOS and Android smart-phones and tablets. Why because entrepreneurs are constantly on the go. And furthermore smart-phones and tablets are now the world’s most popular computers. This means no longer do you need to wait until you get to your desktop to get help. BRiN is always with you and she can give you support anytime, anywhere. Using a simple and elegant chat interface BRiN is able to understand and pinpoint your business problems (better than most humans can) and give you solutions and recommendations within micro-seconds. So yes BRiN is smart but she is also sensitive too. BRiN can listen, understand your moods. BRiN can give you inspiration, she can make you laugh and when pushed she can give you a kick up the butt too. The other side to the BRiN App is education. After months of thinking about the problem we realised that the world didn’t need another online course. And besides, peoples needs and requirements are as unique as themselves. So we started recording individual videos on every area of business. To do this we spent over a million dollars and built a dedicated production facility. Then we bought together over 250 business experts from around the world and we captured their teaching and advice. From strategy, marketing, people and product through to sales, operations, finance and even mindset, the BRiN App gives you access to 500 TV quality videos. And by the end of 2016 that number will grow to 1000 videos – making it the largest library of education videos for business owners in the world. With that much content, finding what you need could be a challenge. So we built a set of features that business people will understand, appreciate and love. Firstly everything is filed under a category and sub-category. So you can locate what you are looking for within seconds. Then once you’ve found something you can click play to watch immediately or better still you can add the content to your “Playlist”. Your “Playlist” then becomes your own highly personalised learning program and you have full control to edit and reorder your list anytime you like. So no more ‘one size fits all’ approach. Your business education is now as unique as you! Next, our early user testing showed that while people love our videos, rarely do business owners have surplus time to sit at their computer and learn. However the average person spends an hour a day commuting to the office and another hour walking the dogs, going to the gym or standing in line at the airport. That’s when we said, “Imagine if users didn’t have to choose between Video and Audio. What if they could access both?”

So our team developed a clever piece of tech we call ‘LearnSwitch’. With it you can seamlessly shift back and forth between Video and Audio anytime you like. Plus when you stop watching any piece of content our software remembers your place. So if you come back one week later, you can pick up exactly where you left off. Other features include the ability for each user to choose their streaming quality and the ability to speed up our content so you can watch or listen at 2x, 3x or 4x speed. And during all this BRiN, your personal business advisor, is there to help you every step along the way. She’ll celebrate your wins; give you inspiration when you’re down and she’ll help you access your next wave of business training. With these features already in place our development team are now working on ‘what’s next’. Shortly, we’ll be adding closed captions to all our videos and then real-time translation into 30 different languages. Next, we’ll be further helping users by adding benchmarking, leaderboards and interactive charts. And soon you’ll be able to find content you need, just by using the power of your voice.
