This week in Performing Arts, the Middle School students performed their adaptation of the CBWA short listed picture story books of 2025! Each class worked together over many sessions to create their own scripts, develop their own choreography and apply their studies in children’s theatre techniques to their performances. After months of work, they performed the shows to all of the students from P-6 at WPS - to a standing ovation !

Warranwood Primary School’s 2026 Spring Fair will be taking place on Saturday 7th November, 2pm - 9pm! It will be a fun-filled day of rides, market stalls, lots of entertaining activities for both young and old, a fireworks display and an opportunity to celebrate 30 YEARS OF WARRANWOOD PRIMARY SCHOOL!

Do you know any past students, families or staff? We are looking at organising a reunion and welcoming back our past alumni as part of the celebrations for this day. Please share the date with anyone who has contributed to Warranwood Primary School’s amazing history. We can’t wait to see everyone again! 🤗

✨Festival of the Arts – Oh What a Night!✨

Congratulations to all our amazing students who contributed to our Festival of the Arts community event last Friday night. Our talented students sang, danced, performed, designed, crafted and spruiked their wares in what was a truly wonderful experience, where creativity, connection and community came together under a glowing pink sky filled with the magic of fairy lights.

To our phenomenal Visual Arts teacher, Jeenah – your creative vision, passion and dedication were on full display. We can’t thank you enough for going above and beyond for our students and our community. And to Jacinta, our inspiring Performing Arts teacher – thank you for guiding our students to bring joy and wonder as they wove their way through the crowd, delighting everyone they passed.

Such a wonderful event isn’t possible without the help of so many:

• To our teaching and education support staff who volunteered their time in the lead-up and on the night – thank you.
�• To our Friends of Warranwood team, who organised the raffle and manned the food and drinks stalls – thank you.
�• To our Warranwood community, who came along and supported the night, either by volunteering or simply by being there and enjoying the evening – thank you.
�• To our families, who supported our students as they learned their songs, practised their dances, created their artworks, made their crafts or prepared menus for their stalls – thank you.
�• To our very generous major sponsors — Ringwood BMW, Nicole Werner MP and Sonja Terpstra MP — thank you.

And of course, the biggest THANK YOU goes to our students. We are so proud of what you have achieved — you have once again shown that little people can make big things happen. ✨ Bravo! ✨

Festival of the Arts is on tomorrow! Join us for a fun night full of student run market stalls, food trucks, bbq, bar, student art exhibition, raffle, community market stalls, live music, silent art auction, and roving entertainment. 5-9:30pm. We can’t wait to see you there!

Last week, the Education and Technology staff from the Realm Library visited our Prep students to extend their learning about coding, robotics and programming instructions. The Preps were very impressed by the Vinci Bot who could draw and the
Roo-ver Jnr which is modeled after the real NASA moon rover! 🤖
