A school doesn't have to be defined by where it starts.

Aqueous Vitae Grammar's long-term vision is to grow from its initial primary school years towards providing educational opportunities from preschool through to tertiary level.

That means thinking beyond the first classroom, the first cohort and even the first few years.

We are building with a long-term vision for education in mind, while beginning with the students and community we will serve from day one.

Aqueous Vitae Grammar is planning to begin classes with Prep through Year 3.

Starting with the younger year levels allows a school community to grow together from the beginning.

It gives students the opportunity to establish strong foundations in their earliest years while allowing the school to develop its programmes, culture and community alongside them.

Each year, another year level will be added as AVG grows. We are looking forward to building this journey one year at a time.

You may have heard schools talk about the International Baccalaureate, or IB. But what exactly is it?

The IB is an educational framework designed to help students understand how they learn, develop strong thinking skills and become more aware of their place in the world.

Rather than focusing only on what students know, IB education also considers how they learn, how they apply their knowledge and how they engage with the people and world around them.

At Aqueous Vitae Grammar, we are working towards offering an IB educational programme as part of our long-term vision for learning.

What does it really mean to give a child a strong foundation? The primary years are an important time for children to develop the knowledge, skills and character that will support them throughout their education and beyond.

At Aqueous Vitae Grammar, we believe these areas aren't separate from one another. Together, they contribute to the development of the whole child. A strong foundation isn't about preparing children for one test or one school year.

It's about preparing them for learning and life.
