ππ The West Gippsland Arts Centre is being lit up purple on Wednesday 1st of May to remember the Women and Children whose lives were taken due to Family Violence.
π― We will recognise the tragic loss of lives as a result of family violence, and the ongoing risk to women and children in Gippsland, where we constantly face some of the highest family violence reporting rates in the state.
By joining the evening of reflection and remembrance, we honour their memories and help bring light to this national crisis.

Happy Motherβs Day To You
Happy Motherβs Day Dear Mummy
Happy Motherβs Day To You.
(the children have learnt the signs for Happy, mum, day, to and you. I wonder if they can remember and show you!!)
A huge thank you to all the mums and grandmothers that attended kinder this week and we look forward to some more mums visiting kinder next week. The children were so excited to have you visit. It is so lovely to see the love and pride in the faces of not only the children but their parents/family as well. This was also a great way for families to connect with each other. I had lovely feedback from mumβs saying how nice it was to meet other mums. This is what kinder is all about. A place to learn about and develop our own identity and the identity of others and to make connections in our community.
We hope you all enjoy the special day on Sunday.

Wanted please succulent cuttings to use for making Mother's Day Presents. If you have some please drop at kinder as soon as possible. If you have any coffee cups or small bowls that you don't need we would like these as well please. I can collect them from your house if you can't drop them off.
