Our Year 12 Student Leaders recently joined student leaders from across the Diocese of Sale for the Term 3 Student Leader Meeting with Bishop Greg Bennet, held at the Sion Teachers’ Centre in Warragul.

The gathering was a wonderful opportunity for students to reflect on their leadership journeys, share experiences and challenges, and connect with fellow student leaders from across the Diocese.

Our Year 12 leaders embraced the opportunity to share their experiences and ideas, contributing thoughtfully to the conversation and engaging positively with Bishop Greg and their fellow student leaders.

A valuable experience for our students as they continue to grow as leaders and make a positive difference within our College community.

Book Week fun continued today as our staff stepped into the pages of their favourite books and dressed up for the occasion!

Our Book Week celebrations have been filling the week with plenty of fun, from Tutor Quiz and Music Monday to Book Flix sessions at lunchtime, giving students different ways to celebrate their favourite books and characters.

Tomorrow, the fun continues with our Scavenger Book Hunt, with even more Book Week activities still to come!

A wonderful celebration for Marcellin House as students and staff came together for their House Feast Day.

Led by our House Captains, the celebration centred on the theme “One Heart and One Mind” — a beautiful reminder of the strength we find when we come together in faith, friendship and community.

The Feast Day was a wonderful opportunity for Marcellin students and staff to come together, celebrate their House spirit and share in a special time of connection and celebration.

The celebrations continued afterwards with donuts shared among students and staff — a sweet way to finish a special day!

We were excited to welcome Western Australian author and visual storyteller Aśka to Marist-Sion College this month.

Aśka shared her passion for storytelling with a select group of students from Years 7–12 through an engaging presentation and hands-on drawing workshop, introducing students to the art of writing with pictures.

With a background in science and a love of comics, graphic novels and visual storytelling, Aśka showed students how images can be used to communicate ideas, build characters and bring stories to life.

It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to get creative and explore storytelling in a whole new way!

✨ A few weeks on from the final curtain call of Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure, we’re taking a moment to celebrate everyone who helped bring this year’s College Production to life.

Our talented cast on stage, dedicated students and staff working behind the scenes, and musicians in the pit all played an important part in creating this production.

One of the highlights was seeing our students embrace the opportunity to showcase their talents, build confidence and work together throughout the journey. It was also wonderful to welcome families, past students and members of our wider community to the performances, reflecting the strong sense of connection and pride within Marist-Sion College.

A huge thank you to our cast and crew, staff, volunteers and supporters for the time, commitment and creativity you shared throughout the production.

Congratulations to all students involved in Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure - we are proud of what you achieved both on stage and behind the scenes.

Earlier this week, our Year 11 students headed to Phillip Island for their annual retreat, embracing the theme Full of Grace: Transform the World with God’s Love.

Across three days, students stepped away from the everyday to connect, reflect, pray, laugh and grow together. From meaningful conversations to new challenges and plenty of shared moments, it was wonderful to see our students embracing the experience and supporting one another.

A big thank you to our amazing staff and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the retreat possible.

We’re incredibly proud of our Year 11 cohort and the many ways they continue to live out our theme.

Recently, our Year 12 students celebrated their Formal, enjoying a fantastic evening filled with laughter, dancing and unforgettable memories.

It was a wonderful night for students to come together, celebrate their final year of secondary school and enjoy the friendships and connections that have grown throughout their time at Marist-Sion College.

A special thank you to everyone who helped make the evening such a success. It was a joy to see our Year 12 students celebrate this milestone together and create memories they will treasure as they finish their time at the College.

We are pleased to congratulate Grace Judd, who has completed her Master of Teaching (Secondary Education) at Monash University. Grace teaches Visual Communication and Design and Art, bringing creativity, passion, and a strong design focus to her classroom practice.

Our Year 10 and VCE VM students recently attended the Job Skills Expo at Lardner Park, joining students from across Gippsland to explore future career pathways and connect with local industries.

From hands-on experiences to conversations with industry professionals, the expo offered valuable insights into the many opportunities available throughout the region.

Thank you to the wonderful team at for coordinating such a fantastic event.

Congratulations to Sophie Gooley (Year 10 – Lourdes House), who has been accepted into the prestigious 2026–2028 Monash University Monash Scholars Cohort.

Following a competitive application process, Sophie will take part in a range of opportunities to enhance her learning, explore future pathways and develop her leadership skills alongside other high-achieving students.
