PROJECT UPDATE: Exciting progress continues on the transformation of the historic Our Lady of Sion Convent site in Sale into the future home of Our Lady of Sion Catholic Primary School.

✔️The purpose-built Foundation to Year 3 Learning Centre has reached lock up stage, with internal works including ceiling lining, joinery and painting progressing well.

✔️Restoration of the heritage convent is advancing, with internal framing underway following extensive internal demolition and structural works.

✔️Other works include heritage window restoration, the commencement of slate roof replacement, and construction of a new lift.

✔️The new large dome structure, visible on the grounds, is the new Covered Outdoor Learning Area, which will provide a dedicated all-weather hardcourt space for students.

Once complete, the campus will become the future home of Our Lady of Sion Catholic Primary School with St Thomas Catholic Primary School, Sale relocating to the site. This transition is currently anticipated during 2027.

PROJECT UPDATE: Take a look at progress of the new St Oscar Romero Catholic Primary School at Drouin.

Stage 1 is planned to open in Term 1, 2027, and enrolment enquiries are being taken.
