Hi all

Hope your rabbit baiting is going well, I have certainly seen a reduction to numbers and more than a few dead rabbits!

We have been successful in obtaining a Grant from VRAN – Victoria Rabbit Action Network
of $4,293 which is to be used for education on the various options available to help keep rabbit numbers under control.

This grant will give us the opportunity to assist people more broadly in the area to address rabbit issues

If you would like to be involved in organising the events please let me know as your assistance will be greatly appreciated

I can send a copy of the Funding Guidelines of the grant and a copy of the successful application we lodged.

Hi All

YES there are increasing numbers of RABBITS around but we have also had an abundance of grass for them.
Warragul and District Urban Landcare group will be attempting a Baiting program ONLY if over the next couple of weeks we can create bait stations and FREE feed with CARROTS – if we have rabbits eating carrots on a regular basis – we can then move into the Pindone Baiting program.

Please become a member, create a free feeding carrot station and FREE FEED NOW!

We have had positive feedback this week with some members already starting and reporting rabbits readily taking the free feed carrots.
Please provide feedback during the next 2 weeks – til 26th March 2020.
