Wishing Evee, Frankie and Mia the very best at the SYP Girls Football Carnival today! Our Warooka girls have joined forces with Minlaton for the day, and we hope they have an awesome time out on the field, make some new friends and enjoy representing their schools.

🎾 Hot Shots Tennis! 🎾

Our Year 3/4 students had a fantastic day at Yorketown Tennis Club today, enjoying some fun and friendly tennis with students from Minlaton, Yorketown and Curramulka. The students had a great time developing their tennis skills and represented our school brilliantly throughout the day. A special congratulations to Aubree and Eddie, who received Sportsmanship Awards – a wonderful achievement! A huge thank you to Yorketown Tennis Club and Julie for organising such a fantastic day for our students.

What an amazing Book Week celebration we had today! Our students absolutely blew us away at our Book Week parade proudly showing off their favorite book characters and WOW the costumes were incredible! A huge thank you to our parents and families for the time,effort and creativity that went into helping organise costumes. After the parade we slow things down with a shared story time before finishing celebrations with a lunchtime disco. There were plenty of smiles, some impressive dance moves and lots of fun!

⛳️ Golf at Warooka! 🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

Our students had a fantastic morning at Warooka Golf Club, learning and practising their golfing skills! From perfecting their putting to having a go at driving, there was plenty of enthusiasm, concentration and fun out on the course.

A huge thank you to Adam Murdock and Fred Hendry, who generously volunteered their time to work with our students and share their skills and knowledge. We are incredibly grateful to have community members who are so willing to give their time and provide wonderful opportunities like this for our children.

What a great morning of learning in our local community! ⛳️👏

Happy SSO Week to our incredible team!

This week we celebrate the wonderful people who do so much, every single day, to make Warooka Primary and School Based Preschool the caring, supportive and special place it is.

A huge thank you to our amazing SSOs - Jo, Zoe, Nikki, Caillin, Shari, Harper and Kerry, as well as our fantastic regional IT support Dylan and our wonderful grounds person Steve.

You are the people working behind the scenes, beside our students and alongside our staff — solving problems, lending a hand, offering encouragement, keeping things running and, most importantly, making sure our children feel supported, cared for and valued.

So much of what happens in our school simply wouldn’t be possible without you. Your patience, kindness, flexibility and willingness to jump in wherever you are needed never goes unnoticed. We are incredibly lucky to have each of you as part of our Warooka team, and we hope you know just how much you are appreciated — not only during SSO Week, but every day of the year.

Good luck to Tom who is representing Warooka this week in the SYP team for SAPSASA soccer. It’s been a wet and muddy start to the tournament but all the boys are playing very well.
