🖤💛❤️ National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day ❤️💛🖤

On Tuesday, the children in Kindy came together for a fantastic mat session to celebrate National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children's Day. We shared a story and discussed how we can take care of each other, our land and care for Country. The children contributed wonderful ideas about protecting the environment, showing respect for nature and each other, and helping to keep our world clean and healthy. 🌿

Our centre had a fantastic time celebrating Jeans for Genes Day today!
Each room decorated their own pair of jeans, and the children absolutely loved expressing their creativity through colours, patterns, and unique designs. It was wonderful to see their excitement while learning about helping others and supporting an important cause.
We're proud to be part of a community that comes together to make a positive impact.

🌟 Happy World Friendship Day! 🌟

Today, our Kindy children came together to celebrate the wonderful friendships they have built throughout the year. Working as a team, they created beautiful friendship posters filled with colour, creativity, and kind messages.

It was a lovely opportunity for the children to talk about what friendship means to them, share ideas, and celebrate the importance of kindness, inclusion, and caring for one another.

We are so proud of the strong friendships growing within our Kindy community. 💛🤝

🥣✨ Our Nursery children had a fantastic time exploring a cereal sensory tray filled with Fruit Loops, Weet-Bix, Rice Bubbles, Milo Cereal, Coco Pops, and Chex!

Through scooping, pouring, sorting, mixing, and crunching, the children explored different textures, colours, shapes, and sounds while building fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, and early maths concepts. Most importantly, they had lots of fun learning through hands-on play! 🌈💛

Earlier this month, the children celebrated National Chocolate Day with lots of fun chocolate sensory play, exploring and creating through hands-on experiences.

Today, for National Lamington Day, they had a wonderful time making their own lamingtons and enjoying their delicious creations!
