HS4 Class Update – Term 3📚

Here’s what we’ve been up to in HS4 this term

What We Learned:
• In Literacy, students are learning to write their names, addresses, and birthdays to help them confidently fill out forms.
• In Maths, students are developing their skills in number recognition, counting, and simple addition and subtraction through hands-on activities.
Special Events and Activities:
• We had a wonderful time making traditional bush soap with wattle plants to celebrate NAIDOC Week and connect with First Nations knowledge.
• We enjoyed visiting the Healthy Harold van to learn about personal space, consent, private body parts, and how to keep ourselves safe.
• A huge highlight was taking the bus and watching Toy Story 5 on our High School movie day excursion!
Good Work:
Our students have worked hard this term and have made wonderful progress in their learning. We are proud of their efforts across all subjects—especially in Literacy and Maths, where they have shown great improvement and enthusiasm.
Reminders:
• We participate in Sports Ready on Mondays.
• Please check Seesaw for weekly updates on our wonderful class.
Thank you for your ongoing support!

• Education Week, celebrating our students and their learning and our parent morning tea.

We are looking forward to:
• Primary Movie Day and Book Week.

Good Work
We would like to congratulate Yasmin for transitioning well into the Dingoes class and Jayden for receiving the Deadly Award for primary during NAIDOC week.

HS3 Class Update – Term 3, 2026 📚

Hello parents and students!

Here is what is happening in our class this term:

What We're Learning:
In History, we're exploring the Ancient Mediterranean, looking at the daily life, culture, and civilisations of this region long ago. In Science, we're diving into Forces and Energy, discovering how push, pull, and movement work in the world around us. We're really looking forward to bringing these topics together soon with some Mediterranean-inspired cooking! We can't wait for the pool to reopen so we can get back to our swimming sessions!

What We've Been Up To:
It's been a busy start to the term! We had a visit from Healthy Harold and the Life Education Van, enjoyed High School Movie Day watching Toy Story 5 (a huge favourite with the class!), and got hands-on for NAIDOC Week, including making our own damper.

Good Work:
We are so proud of how well the class listened to instructions and behaved during our movie day excursion. Great job, everyone! We're also seeing wonderful progress through our Decodable Readers levels, with lots of improvement in reading skills across the class.

Reminders:
We're continuing to focus on our school values, and how we care for others. We're working hard on emotional regulation, using kind words, and keeping our hands and feet to ourselves.

Thank you for your continued support!
