The North West Primary girls' rugby 7s team are in Kiama this week for the state championships.

What a stunning location to play some rugby, right on the ocean's edge.

A sincere thank you to Sam and Peta for leading the girls this week, good luck to you all and enjoy the experience.

Our Busy Bee Transition Day

Yeehaw! What a rip-roaring good time we had at our Kinder Transition Cowboy and Cowgirl Day last Friday! New friends were made, lots of smiles all around, and our little transition stars felt happy and comfy. From crafty horse projects 🐴 to a fun treasure hunt searching for horseshoes around the school, it was all about getting familiar with their new home for next year.

All the children loved trying out our brand new play equipment 🎉 and even popped into the library for a visit before heading off with big waves.
The best part? Hearing them all say, “When can we come back again to big school? I love it!”
Our WPS Learning hive is so excited and ready to welcome its newest Kindy bees next year! 🌼💛

🌟 Book Fair Fun! 📚

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made our Book Fair this year absolutely sensational! Our school and library was bursting with smiles, and amazing costumes – and what a wonderful community gathering it was!

With Amazing book week costumes and creativity from all our students and parents, WPS was a sight to behold! Thank you!

Our music set the stage for an incredible parade, with plenty of dance moves and laughter. And, of course, who could forget the Year 6 and teachers’ ‘Symphony of Reading’ challenge? A rematch was issued, the police were involved, and the Macarena was definitely danced!

Thanks to your generous book purchases, we raised an amazing $4,500! This will go towards helping us bring even more beautiful new books and resources into our library for all students to enjoy and grow their love of reading.

A special shoutout to Mrs. Nieddu for her fantastic library setup, along with all her willing helpers along the way!

We’re so grateful for all the support, laughter and fun had!
