Flashback Friday, 2006
We moved theatres this year to The Drum Theatre in Dandenong. A few of the Dads had retired from their annual ‘Dad Dance’, so boyfriends, brothers and boyfriend’s brothers were recruited to join the Dads for a ‘Bootmen’ tap dance.

Flashback Friday, 2004
Several Senior KADS students stepped up as teachers this year, as Miss Amber was away on a contract performing at Universal Studios in Japan. Missing a concert was just not an option for Miss Amber though - she secretly flew back to Australia, managed to hide in the audience during the second-last concert and then surprised everyone (even Miss Kim!) by walking on stage after the finale! Then of course, she was there to help backstage for the final concert and also performed a song from her show in Japan.

KADS offer a Junior and Senior Theatre program

Flashback Friday, 2003 Concert VHS’s were being phased out while DVD’s were becoming the more popular choice. Holographic fabric was used for lots of costumes, which meant less sequinning for parents/students. “Little” Kim Adam began teaching at KADS and we’re very fortunate to still have her here all these years later!
