Coming from a small regional community on the Victorian / New South Wales border, Yarrawonga Mulwala Basketball Association continues to achieve outstanding participation numbers within Ford Aussie Hoops and is a fantastic example of a country association punching well above its weight.

Through the hard work of their volunteers, coaches, and wider basketball community, they have built a program that is fun, engaging, and welcoming for participants of all abilities. Their strong local support and commitment to creating a positive experience each week has helped foster a genuine love of basketball among young participants in the region.

The association’s continued growth and strong community connection highlight the important role regional basketball associations play in growing the game across Australia.
