Our whole school Pentecost Assembly on Friday morning was a meaningful time of reflection and celebration as our Youth Worker Tom shared about the significance of Pentecost and the coming of the Holy Spirit.
Students also enjoyed a special puppet show presentation featuring Monty Mouse and Chloe, one of our Student Counsellors, before the short exhortation.
We were also delighted to present Kara Ong, winner of our 2026 College Theme Poster Competition, with a framed copy of her artwork. Congratulations, Kara!

Our Prep and Year 1 students enjoyed learning about fire safety with firefighters Matt, Justin, Jamie, and Station Officer Matt.
They learned about community helpers, good and bad fires, calling 000 in an emergency, safe meeting places, and how to “crawl down low and go, go, go.” They also learned about safe family meeting places, smoke detectors, and to “stop, drop, cover and roll” if they ever find themselves on fire.
Earlier this week, they loved exploring the “Pumper” fire engine! Students had the opportunity to walk through the vehicle and even had a turn spraying the fire hose—our Principal gave it a go too!
Many of our five-year-olds decided they wanted to become firefighters and agreed it was the “best day ever”!
A big thank you to Fire Rescue Victoria Station 22 for visiting us!
