KEEPING WARM // Mrs Marmont was extremely proud to be surrounded by wonderful messages of encouragement from our students as she set up her space for the CEO Sleepout at the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House.
Thank you all for your generosity with donations and support. Mrs Marmont has almost hit her goal of raising $4000 this year - donations can still be made at https://www.ceosleepout.org.au/fundraisers/erinmarmont/act

DON'T FORGET // tomorrow, we celebrate the feast of St Anthony of Padua. As part of our Italian and Feast Day celebrations, students are encouraged to wear any Italian-themed outfits that they may have at home. Parents are not expected to make any additional effort to organise costumes or outfits. Students are welcome to attend in their regular school uniform on the day.
This Friday, students are also invited to come dressed to school in their winter PJ’s and provide a gold coin donation to assist in raising money for the Vinnies CEO sleepout. This is Mrs Marmont's third year doing the sleepout, and with huge support from the STA community, she has raised almost $14000 for this worthy cause.
Please donate here if you can: https://www.ceosleepout.org.au/fundraisers/erinmarmont. Your support is deeply appreciated.

WE ARE BLESSED // Today, we had the pleasure of celebrating the completion of our school hall renovation. A heartfelt thank you to Archbishop Christopher Prowse for joining us and for blessing our new hall, and to Selina Walker for her wonderfully personal Welcome to Country.
Executive Director of Catholic Education David de Carvalho shared words on the importance of the school hall within school life, reflecting on the fact that the school hall within Catholic schools is not just a place for events and activity; they are often the place where students begin and end their primary school journey. David Smith MP formally presented the school with a large Australian Flag, beautifully encased and in view in a purpose-made timber display case, that was previously flown at the Prime Minister's residence in Canberra.
We were so fortunate to have ex-principals in attendance (many students' heads turned in delight upon announcing Mr Walker's attendance!), representatives from Catholic Education- Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn, members of our School Community Council, principals from St Mary MacKillop College Canberra, St Francis of Assisi Primary School, St John Paul II College, St Thomas the Apostle Kambah, Holy Family Primary, Gowrie, and builders and architects from Intermain and Munns Sly Moore.
We are so blessed and grateful for the contributions of many to make our new school hall a reality.
YEAR 3 EXCURSION POSTPONED // Unfortunately due to the weather we have had to cancel the Year 3 excursion today.
We are looking at rescheduling the excursion and will let you know as soon as we have a new date.
Apologies for any inconvenience.

Thank you for joining us!
A wonderful evening of wellbeing awareness at our parent information session at St Anthony’s.
Featuring guest speakers:
Lorena Wieshamm, Program lead Mental Illness Education ACT and Justine Moore, certified instructor and ADHD nutritionist from the Root cause.
A powerful presentation that aligned so well with the current programs we have implemented at St Anthony’s this term.
