The rumours are true… Wanneroo Secondary College’s legendary staff battle returns for 2026 - and this year, the stakes are even higher! 🔥

Alongside the usual staff showdown, our three previous champions are also returning for the ultimate battle to decide who truly is the BEST OF THE BEST!

These students are about to perform for the last time as WSC students tomorrow night at The Ellington Jazz Club and man do they have some incredible songs to show off!! We are already so immensely proud of the musicians and performers you have grown to be, and can’t wait for you to have the best time on that stage 🎶

A big “chookas” to Classical Guitar Ensemble who are performing as part of the IMSS Festival this weekend! 🎶😍 Directed by the incredible Mr Justin Low, this group will be performing two items for a panel of adjudicators and will then receive a live workshop on their sound 🤩 So proud already!!

POV: the theatre kids discovered their passion for hip hop and chose to send it.💀🔥

Meet NEFARIOUS 🖤💚

They rehearse once a week.
Have over 12+ minutes of choreography.
And somehow they make every single second look like an EVENT.

Their 6-minute production GUILTY PLEASURES is exactly what it sounds like — an absolutely unhinged trip through the songs, shows and pop-culture moments we simply refuse to feel guilty about. 😂

Think ~ Hamilton ➡️ Mary Poppins ➡️ Kim Possible ➡️ Waka Waka ➡️ old-school hip hop ➡️ Tate McRae ➡️ and somehow it all makes sense? 👏

We’ve tried to give you a little snippet…
The ‘snippet’ is 3 minutes.
ZERO REGRETS.

Some of these kids don’t leave the stage for the entire six minutes. Others get approximately 20 seconds to remember how breathing works before they’re straight back into it. And they. DO. NOT. STOP. GIVING.

Nefarious are loud. They’re ridiculous. They’re theatrical. They’re insanely entertaining.

And they are very, VERY good at what they do. 🖤🔥

And these theatre kids?
They can DANCE.
