This year's theme, "50 Years of Deadly," celebrates five decades of recognising, honouring and celebrating the rich cultures, histories and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Throughout Week 4, our students will enjoy a range of meaningful learning experiences and celebrations, including:
π€ NAIDOC Assembly

Families, caregivers and community members are warmly invited to join us as we come together to celebrate NAIDOC Week.
π§ Janu Healing Yoga Incursion
Students in Years 1β6 will participate in special yoga and wellbeing sessions on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th August, proudly provided at no cost to families through our EWPS RAP Funding.
πΏ NAIDOC Activities in Every Classroom
Students will take part in a variety of engaging learning experiences throughout the week, celebrating First Nations cultures, stories, traditions and achievements.
π Cultural Dress & NAIDOC Support
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students are warmly welcomed to wear their cultural dress, and all students are invited to show their support by wearing First Nations-themed shirts or accessories.
πͺ Gold Coin Fundraiser β Friday 14th August
We're raising funds to help create our new Noongar Library Space. Every gold coin donation will help us continue building a welcoming space that celebrates and shares Noongar culture within our school.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in making this year's celebrations possible. We look forward to learning together, celebrating together and recognising the enduring strength, resilience and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
