Our exciting Father's Day Stall is coming up on Wednesday 2nd September!

We’re looking for raffle prize donations and some friendly faces to help us run the stall. A few hours makes a huge difference!

We’ve also added a “Donate to a Family” option on QKR! There’s absolutely no pressure to donate, it was simply an idea to help make sure every child can be included on the day. :)

The countdown to our East Wanneroo Primary School Faction Carnival is on! ❤️💛💚💙

📅 Friday 4th September

Our P&C will be firing up the BBQ for our Faction Carnival Sausage Sizzle, and we're making lunchtime easy with pre-orders delivered directly to students in their faction bays on the day! 🙌

📌 Complete one order form per student
📌 Return order forms to the front office by Wednesday 26th August

💙🧸🛠FATHER'S DAY STALL - WEDNESDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER🛠🧸💙

Father's Day is just around the corner, and we're excited to help our students find the perfect gift for the special Father figures in their lives!

Join us on Wednesday 2nd September for our annual Father's Day Stall.

🎁 Gifts available from just $1.00–$15.00,
with something to suit every budget.
We also have a wonderful selection of gifts for Grandpas, Uncles and Bonus Dads, so every special person can be celebrated.

🎟️ Don't forget our Father's Day Raffle!
Tickets are just $2.00 each, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs.

💙We have introduced the option on Qkr! to make a kind donation to a family to ensure no student misses out. Even just a small amount would make a difference.

Important reminders:

💙Raffle tickets & notes came home in school bags Thursday.

💙 Please write your child's name and class on raffle tickets before returning them with payment to the school office.

💙 Raffle tickets are due back by Friday 28th August.

💙 Pre-pay and ticket purchases are available via Qkr! until 5:00pm on 31st August.

💙 Students can also purchase raffle tickets on the day using cash or by pre-paying through Qkr!

Our Father's Day Stall is always a favourite event, and every purchase helps support fundraising for our wonderful school community.

💛❤️🖤 NAIDOC Week 2026! 💚💙🤍

Kaya everyone

This year's theme, "50 Years of Deadly," celebrates five decades of recognising, honouring and celebrating the rich cultures, histories and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Throughout Week 4, our students will enjoy a range of meaningful learning experiences and celebrations, including:
🎤 NAIDOC Assembly
📅 Friday 14th August
🕣 8:50am
Families, caregivers and community members are warmly invited to join us as we come together to celebrate NAIDOC Week.

🧘 Janu Healing Yoga Incursion
Students in Years 1–6 will participate in special yoga and wellbeing sessions on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th August, proudly provided at no cost to families through our EWPS RAP Funding.

🌿 NAIDOC Activities in Every Classroom
Students will take part in a variety of engaging learning experiences throughout the week, celebrating First Nations cultures, stories, traditions and achievements.

👕 Cultural Dress & NAIDOC Support
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students are warmly welcomed to wear their cultural dress, and all students are invited to show their support by wearing First Nations-themed shirts or accessories.

🪙 Gold Coin Fundraiser – Friday 14th August
We're raising funds to help create our new Noongar Library Space. Every gold coin donation will help us continue building a welcoming space that celebrates and shares Noongar culture within our school.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in making this year's celebrations possible. We look forward to learning together, celebrating together and recognising the enduring strength, resilience and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
