As there are only be a small number of staff at the school during the break, we ask that you please call the office before coming in to ensure we are open for your visit.

A Special Holy Week Message for Our Young People

My dear children and young people,

We are celebrating Holy Week, a very special time in our Church.

During this week, we remember that Jesus gave us the Mass at the Last Supper on Holy Thursday.

We remember that He suffered and died for us. But most importantly, we celebrate that Jesus rose from the dead and is alive forever.

What is God saying to us through all of this?

God is saying, “I love you.”
God is saying, “I am always with you.”

No matter what happens in life, we are never alone. And God also promises that one day we will be with Him in heaven, together with one another, forever.

This is why Holy Week is so special. It is a time of love, hope, and new life.

I wish you all a very blessed and happy Easter.

Harmony Week at Holy Spirit!

Tuesday 17th March
St Patrick’s day, wear a touch of green
Green cordial and treats at lunchtime from Mrs La Rocca

Thursday 19th March
NET Team joining us to work with each year level

Friday 20th March
Harmony Day
Staff and students encouraged to wear cultural dress and bring food to share with their peers.
Families are welcome to join 1.00pm to 1.30pm for prayer, activities and cultural dishes.

For students with allergies, a special treat in their lunchbox is appreciated.

Weather permitting, we will share our lunch as a whole school in the undercover area (alternatively in classrooms)

As the first point of contact for our community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of the school. From greeting parents and students to managing attendance records. To ensure you feel confident and supported in the role a training period will be provided.

Our school leaders joined the beautiful ceremony this morning to launch Project Compassion 2026.

This morning we gathered for our Opening Mass, a beautiful and reflective start to the year.

Fr Dave’s homily invited us to pause and consider: Who is guiding us? and as a staff, how are we called to shepherd those entrusted to our care? It was a powerful reminder of our vocation to lead with faith, compassion and purpose.

Our Director Paul Greaves reminded us all that we are part of a Catholic system which can help guide us through primary, in to high school and the next phase of life, leaving a lasting connection.

Thank you to our new APRE, Maria La Rocca for hosting such a reverent and prayerful service.

Notice of School Closure: Staff PD Day – Friday, 17 April

Please be advised that our School, Early Learning Centre (COL), and Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service will be closed on Friday, 17 April.

This closure is for a mandatory Staff Professional Development Day.

Closure Summary
Date: Friday, 17 April
Affected Services: School, ELC, and OSHC
Reopening: All services will resume normal operating hours on Monday, 20 April

Note: As the COL and OSHC services will be closed, please ensure you have made alternative childcare arrangements for this date.

Dear Families,

This year, the Northern Territory Government has allocated $200.00 per student under the Back to School Voucher Scheme.

Holy Spirit School has arranged for all vouchers to be sent directly to CSF Gear, our uniform shop, so families can use their vouchers towards uniform purchases if they wish.

If you would prefer to use your full voucher towards school fees, please contact [email protected] or visit the school front office from 16 January 2026, when it reopens, to complete a hard-copy form.

If you have partially used your voucher at CSF Gear and would like to apply the remaining balance towards school fees or Sports Gala Days, please ask CSF Gear staff to:

-Copy the details from the top half of the voucher onto the bottom half

-Tear off the bottom section and give it to you

-Bring this section to the school office for processing

Holy Spirit School’s eligible goods and services include:

-School uniforms

-School fees

-Sports Gala Days
