We sadly announce the closure of the Wangaratta Digital Hub, as the Project in its current form has come to an end. Over the past years, the Hub has been a valued resource for our community, fostering digital inclusion and building the digital skills of hundreds of individuals.

We would like to extend our thanks to the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR) for their funding, which made the establishment and operation of the Hub possible. Their support enabled us to deliver impactful programs that bridged the digital divide and empowered our community through technology.
We also wish to thank the Rural City of Wangaratta for their significant financial and staffing contributions during the final stage of this project. Their support ensured that the Hub could continue to serve our community while we explored sustainable models for its future.

Finally, we express our immense gratitude to the Wangaratta community. Your engagement, enthusiasm, and trust in the Hub have been the driving force behind our efforts. It has been our privilege to work with you and to contribute to the region’s digital growth and inclusion.

As the Hub closes its doors, we remain proud of what we have achieved together and optimistic that the lessons learned will inform future digital initiatives across Victoria.

Wangaratta Digital Hub

A space which offers easy, affordable access to a range of digital technologies, skill development opportunities and supportive networks. The Wangaratta Digital Hub (WDH) is an inclusive community space for people of all ages, funded by the Victorian State Government to increase levels of digital inclusion in the local community.

The WDH operates from a space adjoining the Wangaratta Library but is separate to the library. Community members are encouraged to come in for advice about technology and to make suggestions as to what type of digital technology support is most needed in Wangaratta. If we can’t help you, we will try to find someone who can. Community groups wishing to use the space and the available technology are invited to contact the hub coordinator at [email protected] or 0447 093 888
