Get ready for some Book Parade Day fun! 🎉

This Friday 28th August, we’re putting your detective skills to the test! 👀🕵️‍♀️

📍 At Recess & Lunch
🔴 20 Wallys will be hidden around the school
📋 Grab your checklist + pencil from the Kids Council at the canteen
🔎 Find all 20 Wallys and tick them off as you go
🎁 Bring your completed checklist back to the canteen window… and you’ll receive a PRIZE! 🥳

So keep your eyes peeled, search high and low, and don’t let Wally sneak past you! 😜

Happy Principal’s Day 2026, Mr J!

Today we’re wishing our Principal, Mr Michael Jenkins, a very happy Principal’s Day!

Not many people see just how much work goes on behind the scenes to keep a primary school running smoothly. Managing staff, students, families, budgets, buildings, Department requirements, meetings, emails, the unexpected things that pop up every five minutes… and everything else in between requires some seriously impressive juggling skills!

Mr J tackles it all with dedication, patience, a good sense of humour and a genuine commitment to making Yarrunga the best place it can be for our students, staff and families.

We’re very lucky to have you leading the YPS team, Mr J. Thank you for everything you do — including all the things most people never even know about!
