💉 Not a prescriber? You can still administer Botox® treatments!

One of the most common questions we hear from healthcare professionals starting their aesthetics journey is: "How do I obtain and administer Botox if I can't prescribe it myself?"

The good news is, you don't need to be a prescriber to administer anti-wrinkle treatments, provided you're appropriately trained, insured and working within the relevant clinical requirements.

Here's how the process typically works 👇

✅ Step 1: Your patient requests an anti-wrinkle treatment.

✅ Step 2: A qualified prescriber carries out a face-to-face consultation to assess their suitability for treatment.

✅ Step 3: If appropriate, the prescriber issues a patient-specific prescription and arranges for the product to be supplied.

✅ Step 4: Once everything is in place, you can arrange and administer the treatment within your scope of practice.

You can work alongside a prescriber you already know or connect with a prescribing service in your local area.
