A bit of a different post today.

I wanted to take a minute to thank a few people.

Today I have finally reached the top 100 bracket in all the weapons I compete in.
This has been a long, sinuous road. And having reached this milestone, I wanted to stop for a second, turn back, and appreciate the view.

I will not have the pretension to say or believe I have climbed this alone. And so I would like to thank all of you that believed in me.

Thanks to my partner, Shatha, for listening to my bitching and always having my back.
To all the clubs I have trained under.
To the advice and mentorship from all these fantastic fencers.
To all the people I have admired and still look up to (you know who you are, and there is a lot of you).
To all the members of Aiginskalk for giving me the opportunity to share, care and enjoy every minute I spend in this space we have created together.
To my rivals for pushing me one step further.

I will keep walking forward. See you on the podiums.

Iron Bloom 26 is over !

Well done to all participants for an awesome day of fencing and (controlled) mayhem.

With 28 fencers attending the average matches per fencer were 10-15 fights plus an extra 5 to 8 fights in rapier, per fencer.

Before we get to the placement, we would like to give a big shout out to all the help we have received on the day, all scoring, marshalling, flagging, and overall support that has been given to us and without which none of this would have been feasible.
