Farewell to a Special Member of Our School Community ❤️

Today we farewell a very special member of our school community, Miss Jemma. Miss Jemma has been connected to our school in so many ways over the years — as a student, Education Assistant, teacher and valued member of our wider community.

Her connection to our school is truly special, and we are so grateful for the care, kindness, dedication and many wonderful memories she has shared with our students, families and staff.

Thank you, Miss Jemma, for being such an important part of our school. You will be greatly missed, and we wish you all the very best for the next chapter! ❤️

What a fantastic way to finish the term! 🎉

Our students had a wonderful last day enjoying free dress, karaoke, and a delicious hot chips lunch, generously donated by Janet and Charlie. Thank you, Janet and Charlie, for donating the hot chips and helping make the day so special.

It was great to see so many smiles, laughter, and enthusiastic performances throughout the day. 🎙️

Please note that the end of term newsletter won’t be sent out today due to technical difficulties, but it will be sent out next term.

We hope everyone has a safe and relaxing holiday break, and we look forward to seeing you next term, Monday 20th July!

Reminder! Wandering Primary School’s P&C Easter Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at school on Thursday, April 2nd, from 8:30–9:00am. This will be followed by the school assembly at 9:00am. 🐣

Today we held our last Merit Assembly for the year and celebrated the wonderful achievements of our students. Congratulations to all our award recipients — we are very proud of you! 🌟

Thank you to the families who joined us and visited our open classrooms afterward. It was great to see everyone exploring the learning spaces and sharing in the students’ work.

We look forward to seeing our school community again at Presentation Night this Friday at 5:15pm. 🎄✨

The mural features the iconic numbat, proudly represented in the school’s emblem, and brings together birds, wildflowers, and local bushland to reflect the area’s deep biodiversity and its importance to the traditional owners, the Wilman people.

Earlier this week we had our first Fazz Assembly for the term, congrats to our amazing award recipients. 🥳

Today, the students were invited to the Wandering CRC to celebrate Children's Week. They enjoyed creating an artwork that reflected how they feel about Wandering. We’re looking forward to seeing their creations displayed around the community gardens!! 🎨🖼️

🌟 A Big Week to End Term 3! 🌟

🎤 We wrapped up our final FAZZ Assembly for the term – congratulations to all the winners!

💚 We also celebrated our amazing MCS, Mrs Green. Students made her cards and staff shared a morning tea to thank her for everything she does for our students, staff and school community. We are so lucky to have her!

🏃‍♀️ On Thursday, our Cross Country took place. Well done to all students for giving it their best!

What a great way to finish the term – enjoy the holidays and see you in Term 4! 🌸

What a fun and action-packed week and a half for our students! 💛

They enjoyed Book Week and the Book Fair 📚 before joining Boddington DHS for R U OK? Day and the Athletics Carnival, full of fun, teamwork, and cheering 🏃‍♀️.

Back at school, the Junior Room’s assembly item was absolutely adorable, and we celebrated our award winners 🌟. Students then had a blast during their deserved Wheels Reward Day 🚴‍♀️🛹

A big thank you to everyone who helped make these events happen – we couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌

🌟 It’s been a busy few weeks at Wandering Primary School! From our FAZZ assembly (congratulations to our award recipients 👏), to Day 1 of the Athletics Carnival 🏃‍♀️, our Father’s Day Breakfast 💙 (thank you to all the dads, grandads, mums, brothers and other special role models who came along), and the Red Cross incursion ❤️ – our students have had some fantastic experiences. Thank you to everyone who joined in and supported these events! 🌟
