We had a very exciting week meeting our Japanese friends for the first time in Wamberal! 🇯🇵 🇳🇿
Over the past few months, we've participated in a cross-cultural connection program that facilitates learning between children overseas. To prepare for our live meeting, our preschoolers have been practicing learning songs, games and shared culture in anticipation for our face-to-face meeting over Zoom.
Children then had the opportunity to ask questions to their overseas friends about life in Japan, such as food, animals and holidays, and even said hello in Japanese 👋
We were very proud to see all children so polite, well-mannered and eager to learn throughout every step of this program. It was a huge learning curve for everyone, and we're thrilled to have granted children with such a memorable experience and a complete new-found wonder about the world 🌎
