🎨🌈 WALPOLE PRIMARY IS ON THE ART TRAIL! 🌈🎨

We’re excited to be part of Schools on the Art Trail this year!

Our young artists are creating something delicious! 🍎🥕🍓

Students from Room 1, Room 2 and Room 4 have been painting colourful flags. Their designs are inspired by Australian illustrator Alice Oehr.

Each student has created artwork featuring their favourite fruits and vegetables. 🍊🍐🥦

These individual artworks will come together as one vibrant collaborative display.

The finished artwork will be displayed at Ficifolia Community Garden in Walpole.

📅 26 September – 11 October 2026

We’re thrilled to have our students represented in this wonderful regional celebration of creativity.

Why not visit Ficifolia Community Garden during the school holidays? You can see our young artists’ work alongside the Art Trail.

📖 Explore the FREE Art Trail Guide:

We’ll also feature our students’ artwork on Facebook and in the school newsletter early next term for those who might miss out. 📸🎨

We can’t wait to see our students’ colourful creations brighten the gardens and be enjoyed by our community! 💚

💁🍴A notice for parents of students at Walpole Primary School 🍴

This Friday, September 25th, we're gathering for a Long Table Lunch to celebrate all the amazing things we've accomplished this term! 🎉

Our students will roll up their sleeves and help prepare a delicious meal using fresh produce straight from our Kitchen Garden, plus generous donations from the Outreach Program. 🥕🍽️ It's going to be hands-on, tasty, and wonderfully community-spirited!

Since lunch will be provided that day, you don't need to pack anything for your child — though you're welcome to if you'd like. 😊

We can't wait to come together and celebrate what's been a fantastic term! 🌟

🚗💛 What an Amazing Visit from Camp Quality!

Tuesday was a very special day at Walpole Primary School when Camp Quality wesCarpade rolled into our school!

Our quadrangle came alive with a colourful convoy featuring Buzz Lightyear, dinosaurs, Shrek and more. There were horns tooting, whistles blowing and lights flashing! 🚗🎉

The children were absolutely amazed and overwhelmingly excited!

Then came the gifts, cuddly bears, stickers, cars, pirate balloons and even sword-fighting dinosaurs! 🦖🏴‍☠️🎈

The fun didn't stop when the convoy left. Camp Quality's Puppet Program visited our classrooms, using puppets and storytelling to help children understand cancer while encouraging kindness, empathy and support for others. 🎭💛

The wesCarpade raises money to help Camp Quality bring fun, laughter and support to children facing cancer and their families. We were proud to contribute our Crazy Hair Day gold coin donations to this wonderful cause. ✂️💛

A huge thank you to the Camp Quality team for bringing so much laughter and joy to our school. We loved having you and hope you'll come back to Walpole! 🌟
