2026 NSWCIS Primary Cross Country Championships ||

Last Thursday, Penelope M, Leo C, Charli J, Madelyn S, Jesse G and Harper M raced at CIS Cross Country.

Our athletes embraced the cold, rain and muddy track as they ran incredible times around the tough cross country course at Sydney Equestrian Centre. We are beyond proud of each student who not only raced strongly, but has been dedicated to weeks of training prior to this event!

A further congratulations to Penny, who came 1st out of the HRIS team, and 5th out of 106 athletes. Penny will now continue her training to work towards NSWPSSA in July!

Well done, Macquarie College!

2026 SS Open Girls Football ||

Memories from the Open Girls Football Gala are quite special! The Open Girls recorded pool-round victories over Lakes Grammar and St Columba Anglican School before narrowly losing to last year's runners-up, St Philip's Newcastle. They then defeated Avondale School in the quarter-final and St Philip's Port Stephens in a hard-fought semi-final to secure a place in the grand final finishing as runners-up after a series of impressive performances.

MC demonstrated outstanding teamwork, resilience, and heart throughout the day. Well done, MC!

2026 SS HRIS Cross Country ||

It was a beautiful autumn morning at HRIS Cross Country last Friday. We had outstanding results as a school, with many making the top 10 to secure selection in the HRIS Team. No matter our students position in the race, all MC staff and students understood the pain each competitor was experiencing.

The cheers coming from our MC tent as students raced past were inspiring! Well done, MC!
