🤎 INTERNATIONAL MUD DAY 2026 🤎

We love any excuse to get muddy at Pied Piper and today was the perfect day for some mud play!

Mud play provides sensory-rich experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and joy. Today mud was used at the mud kitchen for cooking gooey recipes, in sensory trays for monster truck and construction site small worlds, mixed with water to make “concrete” for brick stacking and mixed with coloured dye to create artistic mud paintings.

WATER SAFETY WEEK (14-21 June) 💦💧

Water Safety is an integral part of our Bush Kindy program at Pied Piper where we frequently visit our beautiful local lake. We reflect with the children about how we be safe around water and involve them in the discussions about creating rules for our Lake Wallace visits that keep everybody safe and supervised.

"Keep Watch: Eyes on, Hands on." This is the cornerstone message for child safety, reminding parents and guardians to actively supervise children around water by keeping them within arm's reach and maintaining 100% focus.
