🌟 Celebrating Our Year 1 Learners! 🌟
We are delighted to share some wonderful news from our Year 1 students. Results from the 2026 Numeracy Check show that 85% of our students achieved proficiency, significantly above the CESA average of 65%.
This achievement reflects the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers and ESOs, and the strong partnership we share with families. Together, we are helping our children build the confidence, skills, and understanding they need to thrive in mathematics.

What a wonderful Book Week Parade this morning! 📖🌟

The creativity, imagination, and effort that went into the costumes were absolutely amazing to see. From beloved book characters to creative interpretations, our students truly brought stories to life! 🎭📚

A huge thank you to our parents and teachers for getting behind this special event and helping us create our very own "Symphony of Stories" 🎶📖. Your support and enthusiasm made the morning such a success.

A special shout-out to our incredible librarian, Mrs Steer 💐👏, whose creativity, passion, and dedication helped make this celebration of reading so memorable.

Learning Expo 2026

On Wednesday, families joined us for our annual Learning Expo, celebrating the wonderful learning taking place across our school. Students and teachers proudly prepared displays showcasing their work and achievements, with students taking the lead in sharing their learning journeys with their families.

It was wonderful to see students confidently explaining their learning, demonstrating new skills, and reflecting on their progress throughout the year.

The evening also featured a popular sausage sizzle, which was enjoyed by many families and contributed to the warm and welcoming community atmosphere. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success.

Good luck to our girls competing in the YP SAPSASA Girls Football Carnival at Maitland today. Joining with Ardrossan Area School, we wish them all the best for a fun and successful day of football.

**Update - after a successful day the team has qualified for the Division 2 State Basketball Championships to held later this year. An amazing effort! Thanks to our coaches Mr Northeast, Mr Kerin and scorers Talia and Sarah.

Best of luck to our Year 5/6 Basketball Team competing in the Regional SAPSASA Basketball Carnival at the Copper Coast Leisure Centre today.

Play hard, support one another, and most importantly, have fun. We are cheering you on all the way! 🏀💙💛
