🌟 Father’s Day 2026 at Wallacia Public School! 🌟

We’re excited to invite all our dads, grandfathers and father figures to a special Father’s Day BBQ on Friday, 28th August from 1:20pm! Every student will receive a sausage sizzle, and we’d love to see as many family members join us as possible. To help with catering, please complete the RSVP form using the link below.

Plus, our P&C will be hosting a Father’s Day Stall on Monday, 31st August and Tuesday, 1st September. Students will have the chance to pick out a special gift for their dad, grandfather or father figure, with gifts ranging from $1 to $10+. If your child would like to buy a gift, please send them to school with cash.

Students who are away on Monday will have the opportunity to visit the stall on Tuesday.

Looking for easy ways to make school lunches healthier and more fun? 🌈 Try adding a rainbow of vegetables and fruit to your child’s lunchbox!

You can make colourful veggie kebabs, pair them with reduced fat cheese or yummy dips like tzatziki and hummus. Bite-sized veggies and fruits—like cherry tomatoes, baby cucumbers, snow peas, berries, and grapes—are perfect for recess. Add salad veggies to sandwiches, wraps, or rolls for extra goodness!

Different coloured vegetables and fruit each give your child new vitamins and minerals to help them grow strong and healthy. Eat the rainbow every day!

⚽Huge shoutout to our senior and junior soccer teams who competed with enthusiasm at the PSSA Soccer Try Out Day! Our students beautifully represented Wallacia Public School with great sportsmanship and team spirit.

A big thank you to Mrs Bruce & Mr Grenfell for their dedication in coaching and organising our teams. We also want to extend our gratitude to all the parents who made it possible. Thank you for transporting our students, cheering them on, and providing those much-needed snacks!

Our Wallacia Public School staff really embraced the 2026 Book Week theme ‘Symphony of Stories’ with a fun Toy Story dress-up! 🤠📚 Here’s a wonderful snapshot of our team in full character as we helped set up the book fair, ready to welcome families and students.

Thank you to all staff for their creativity and dedication. Not only in dressing up but also in supporting the parade, literacy activities, and the smooth running of the book fair. A special shoutout to Mrs Bruce for her fantastic organisation that made today’s celebrations possible!

Thank you to all the families who joined us at Wallacia Public School for our Education & Book Week festivities today! 📖💫

It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the book fair set up in our library, with family and friends exploring together. Special moments were shared, from Mr Grenfell’s captivating reading of The Truck Cat to engaging literacy activities and the delicious P&C cake stall treats.

What a fantastic day at Wallacia Public School celebrating Education & Book Week with our 2026 theme, ‘Symphony of Stories’! 🎉📚

Our students looked amazing as they paraded in their costumes, bringing their favourite book characters to life. Stage 3 students took the lead in an exciting narrative writing task, creating stories online using Book Creator. The energy and creativity were truly inspiring!

A huge thank you to Mrs Bruce for her outstanding organisation and to all our wonderful staff for their dedication in dressing up and helping with setup. Your support made today so special for everyone involved.
