We are pleased to invite parents and caregivers to a Wait Mate Parent Information Session scheduled to be held on Monday 2 November.

Wait Mate is a parent-led movement that supports families to delay giving their children a smartphone. By connecting parents within school year levels, Wait Mate helps families work together and build confidence to wait on smartphones for as long as possible.

There’s no better way to celebrate the end of term than with a little school spirit, and a lot of colour 🌈✨ On the final day of Term 3, we hosted our annual Parents’ Association Colour Run, bringing our community together. From dodging through the obstacle course to getting doused in house colours by our Year 6 leaders, there was plenty of energy on display! Thank you to our Parents’ Association, the PE Department, and everyone who joined in the fun.

Our annual St Andrew’s in Concert was a night to remember, showcasing the incredible music talent across our School 🎼🎷✨ From our vocal ensembles, to percussion, to our newly formed Junior Choir, it was an evening that put our students’ standout talent on full display. Handbells, saxophones, choirs, and string orchestras all had their moment, a reminder of how far our students’ hard work can take them. Thank you to our music staff and to all the families for their continued support of music at St Andrew’s.

As we celebrate another wonderful term at St Andrew's, we are incredibly proud to share that our ELC has received an Exceeding Rating from the Education Standards Board, an achievement reached by only a handful of services across South Australia. Receiving this wonderful news so close to Early Childhood Educators’ Day gave us the perfect opportunity to pause, reflect and celebrate our amazing team and the incredible work they do every day. We are so grateful to our children and families for being such an important part of our community and for sharing their journey with us. We couldn’t be prouder!

On Wednesday 23 September, the St Andrew's School community came together to celebrate our founding. The day began with the Official Re-opening of the School Hall, a proud moment marking the restored heart of our Eastern Campus. The community then gathered for our cherished Founders' Day Assembly, honouring the vision and legacy of those who founded our School.

The celebrations continued with an Old Scholar and Special Guest Morning Tea, bringing together familiar faces and treasured memories, before the morning concluded with the Official Unveiling of the Old Scholar Feature Flags on Smith Street, a lasting tribute to the generations who have walked our halls and their many achievements and contributions beyond the school gates.

It was a wonderful occasion, uniting Old Scholars, special guests, staff, students and families in celebration of our School's rich history and bright future.

We were delighted to welcome Gavin Kinch, Principal of ACS International School Singapore, to St Andrew's. During his visit, Gavin toured our campus, exploring our thriving Early Learning Centre and observing our engaged students in action across our learning spaces.

Building on a shared professional connection, which includes Luke’s sabbatical visit to ACS International in Singapore and their time at the IB Global Conference in Mumbai, Gavin and Luke reconnected to discuss educational leadership, International Baccalaureate (IB) frameworks, and future school growth.

This week, we were fortunate enough to welcome back leading youth advocate and educator, Daniel Principe, to St Andrew's for a series of workshops with not only our parents, but also our Year 5 and 6 cohorts, and our teaching staff.

Daniel’s sessions offered powerful, practical insights into navigating digital culture and empowering our young people to build healthy, respectful relationships. Thank you, Daniel, for partnering with our students, staff, and families to help shape a supportive culture for the next generation.
