Following the fundraising efforts from our Crazy Clothes and Accessory Day held earlier this year, we were pleased to welcome two representatives from The Friends of the Women's & Children's Hospital (FWCH) to our Upper Primary Assembly this week.

Andrew Wade, Friends Business Manager, and Kaye Steer OAM, Friends Auxiliaries Division State President, joined us to present our SRC with a Certificate of Appreciation, recognising the $653.55 raised by our School for the hospital.

These funds will contribute to the purchase of a Rebound Tonometer, a specialised piece of equipment used to measure eye pressure and support the diagnosis and monitoring of eye conditions such as glaucoma. Thank you to our community for generously donating!

How do we guide our children through modern conversations about relationships, respect, and identity?

To help answer that, we are delighted to welcome back youth advocate and educator Daniel Principe, to St Andrew’s for a second year. It’s a valuable opportunity for parents of young people to learn how we can collectively nurture kindness, empathy, and strength in our children. We look forward to seeing current families there!

We had a wonderful time celebrating International Day of Play during the Term! It was a great reminder that play is essential for a child's learning, mental health, and wellbeing. From building imaginative worlds to exploring nature, unstructured play helps children develop vital problem-solving and social skills. As a school community, we remain dedicated to protecting this vital time for our students to explore, grow, and simply enjoy being kids.

An Evening with Strings ✨🎻

From Vivaldi to AC/DC, our recent string evening was an outstanding showcase of our diverse music program!

The energy on stage was unmatched, especially as we welcomed our Old Scholars Orchestra to the community. Seeing parents, siblings, and alumni performing side-by-side with our current students made for an unforgettable celebration of music.
