We understand a child's developmental growth - physically, socially and emotionally providing them with the ability to learn the types of knowledge, behaviour, thinking and communication skills they require for life. As we recognise the importance of stimulating a child's brain in the early years is critical, we ensure the experiences of hearing, seeing, touching, smelling, tasting, exploring and questioning. This provides the foundation for learning and other lifelong skills shaping the adults they will become.

Looking up towards the sky our Pre Kindy Children have been showing lots of curiosity surrounding the moon. Educators supported this ongoing investigation with offering photographs of the moon which allow r children to draw their own interpretations of the moon.

Transition visits to Walkerston State School have begun. There always so much excitement in the air.

Before we leave, we talk about what to expect at the school and the expectations around road safety. Final checks are done to ensure we wear our hats, vests, and shoes.
One last roll call and off we go.

Transition visits are so beneficial for the childrent to explore, meet, and engage with teachers and other children. It gives children the opportunity to become familiar and grow in confidence within themselves in a new environment surrounded by their familiar educators, as well as family. The consistent visits over the next few months will help the children to have the best start to their schooling career, making this a postive experience.
