Exciting news
Koolyangarra Preschool is excited to announce that we have successfully sourced funding for a new Speech and Language Program in partnership with Kerin Health and the First 2000 Days Program.
This program will support children’s communication and language development during the most important early learning years.
To deliver this program, Koolyangarra Preschool is now seeking a reliable and motivated person to implement the program within the preschool environment for three days per week.

👶💙 Attention Walgett, Lightning Ridge and Collarenebri. 💙👶

We’re pleased to introduce Grace, our new Child & Family Health Nurse, who will be providing vital support to children and families across Walgett, Lightning Ridge and Collarenebri.

Grace will be based at Walgett Hospital every Monday and Tuesday, offering a range of services for children from birth to 5 years, including:
✔️ Immunisations
✔️ Blue Book checks
✔️ Developmental monitoring
✔️ Advice and support for parents and carers
✔️ Guidance on feeding, sleep, growth and wellbeing

To improve access for families across the region, Grace will also be delivering outreach clinics:
📍 Lightning Ridge – fortnightly
📍 Collarenebri – monthly
