Henschke P&F supports our school through numerous events both school and community based in order to provide the best for our children.
HENSCHKE CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL P&F
We invite you to attend P&F meetings on the first Tuesday of every month (unless advised otherwise) at 6.15pm in the school staffroom or via Zoom. Attending these meetings gives you the opportunity to hear about the direction for the school, where money is being spent, what educational programs are being implemented, how teachers are educating your children,
and how the school is growing as part of our local community. Naturally not everyone can attend every meeting due to home and work commitments, however attendance regularly will increase your knowledge about your child’s education, provide you information on the direction of your school, and increase your feeling of belonging to your school community. You can keep up-to-date with Compass and this page. Every Catholic School in NSW has a P&F. The P&F is an integral part of the Catholic school and provides a formal structure and support network for parents to participate in the activities and decision making processes at the school and to work for the benefit of the school and their children. Parents, carers and families represent the interests of the whole of the school community, and attendance at these meetings provides you with a voice, responsibility and a say in the education of your children. Similarly, parents, carers and families are the first teachers of their children and have the right and the responsibility to be engaged with their children’s education. Research shows that children do better at school when parents continue to be engaged throughout their children’s years at school. The P&F can facilitate this engagement.
