🌟 WE’VE DONE IT AGAIN! 🌟

We are incredibly proud to share that Lil’ Melodies has been recognised as a 2026 Kindermusik Top Program!

This is our 11th consecutive year receiving this recognition, and honestly, it never gets old.

To be recognised amongst Kindermusik programs from around the world is something we are incredibly proud of — especially as a little music studio right here in Wagga Wagga! 🥹

But this award really belongs to our beautiful Lil’ Melodies families. Thank you for continuing to support Lil’ Melodies and for valuing the importance of early childhood music education as much as we do.

One of our gorgeous little Level 1 students has been loving a book we read together in class, Where Is Bear?

Master N and his family loved it so much that his mum decided to make a costume as Bear in the book for book week!! 🐻

These are the little moments that make me smile so much at Lil’ Melodies. Stories, music and imaginative play aren’t just fun, they’re helping children make connections, build language, remember experiences and bring their learning into their own little world.
When something we’ve explored in class inspires a child enough that they want to keep the story going at home… that’s pretty special.

And seriously… could he BE any cuter?! 🥹🐻

A Calm Space to Learn, Move & Make Music.

Something I’ve been really intentional about at Lil’ Melodies is creating a learning environment that feels welcoming without being overwhelming.

Our studio has been designed with:
- Low visual clutter and plenty of open space
- Calm, muted colours rather than overly bright walls�- Acoustic wall treatments to help manage sound�- Dimmable lighting, which we keep low during classes�- Plenty of visual “rest” between displays�- Purposeful sensory experiences through music, movement and instruments

Because a music class naturally provides lots of wonderful sensory input (sounds, movement, rhythm, instruments and touch), the room itself doesn’t need to compete for a child’s attention.

Instead, we want the studio to provide a calm baseline, allowing us to introduce sensory experiences intentionally through music.

Every child experiences their environment differently, and no single space will suit every child. But creating a studio where children can feel comfortable, regulated and ready to learn is something that really matters to me.

Because sometimes less really is more. 💜
