During National Science Week, the children captured their curiosity as they engaged in interactive science experiments. They participated in shared learning experiences, explored scientific concepts through hands-on investigations, and developed their understanding by asking questions, making predictions, and sharing their discoveries with one another.

Yesterday, our children and educators proudly wore their denim in support of Jeans for Genes Day. Together, our service helped raise funds for the Children's Medical Research Institute, contributing to vital research that aims to find new treatments and cures for childhood genetic diseases.

A heartfelt thank you to all our families and educators for supporting this meaningful cause and helping make a difference in the lives of children and their families.

With your very generous cash and QR code contributions we raised $437.30 💙👖

Last week, the children wore their comfy PJ's to show their support for children living in foster care. They spent the week creating dream catchers, designing face masks and engaging in many pyjama related experiences.

Thank you to our families for your generous contributions towards this fundraiser. With your cash and online donations we exceeded our goal and raised $386.85 🩵

On Saturday some of our team enjoyed a fun team bonding experience at Smash Shack! 💥

There were plenty of laughs, lots of fun and maybe a little bit of stress relief along the way! 😂

It was a great opportunity to step away from our usual routines, connect with each other and enjoy some well-deserved time together outside of the centre.

We love creating opportunities for our team to build relationships, support each other and have fun along the way 🧡

What is NAIDOC Week?

It is cultural artefacts and visual resources sparking conversation and curiosity between children. It is coming together for our Acknowledgement of Country and daily yarning circle. It is exploring traditional foods, tools and objects of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. It is listening to Dreamtime stories and developing an understanding of Australia's rich First Nations heritage. It is showing appreciation for the past, present and future achievements of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 🖤💛❤️

On Monday, the children came wearing their warm, winter beanies for hot chocolate and beanie day. Children enjoyed a warm hot chocolate made for them with love by their educators.

Our service registered with Ronald McDonald House for this occasion to show our support and help raise funds for children who are injured, or diagnosed with a serious illness, as it affects the whole family.

With families generous cash and QR code donations we raised $200.60. Thank you to all of the families who contributed ❤️

Yesterday, we received a visit from one of our parents (Zale) who is a fireman, and other firefighters Ben, Scott and Nathan. They spoke to the children about their role and the important work they do in the community. The children were very engaged as they listened and asked questions about firefighting and fire safety.

The children were then able to view the fire truck up close and explore all of the special equipment and tools used by firefighters. They were fascinated by the different features of the truck and were very eager to learn how each item helps firefighters in their job 🔥🚨🚒
