At COMPACT, National Skills Week is an opportunity to celebrate the power of skills, education and real-world experiences that help people build successful futures. Every day, we work alongside schools, students, employers and training providers to create meaningful pathways through work placement, VET, school-based apprenticeships and traineeships, career development and employment programs. We believe every person deserves the opportunity to discover their potential, develop valuable skills and gain the confidence to achieve their career goals. This National Skills Week, we celebrate everyone who is investing in skills, supporting learning and helping to build a stronger, more capable workforce for our communities.

Orlando, a Year 11 Construction student from Marian Catholic College, recently completed his work placement at Pat Cirillo Air. A big thank you to Pat and the team for welcoming Orlando and supporting his workplace learning experience.

A big thank you to Bidgee School for welcoming Compact to join their senior students in exploring work-ready skills — including resume writing, personal presentation, and understanding employer expectations. Students and staff engaged in meaningful content, conversations, and activities throughout the session.
We love working with students to build their knowledge, experience, and confidence as they prepare for what comes next and the skills they'll need to get there.
