Check out the Murrumbidgee Youth Mental Health Forum 2026! πŸ’¬βœ¨

We had an incredible time connecting with students from across the Murrumbidgee. Participants had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with other young people and work on projects they can take back to their schools to create positive change.

A huge thank you to Burn Bright, who were amazing facilitators and created such a welcoming and engaging space throughout the day.

This event would not have been possible without the generous support of the NSW Office for Youth and Charles Sturt University. We also want to thank Rapid Relief Team AU for keeping everyone fuelled with a delicious morning tea.

A massive shout out to the incredible organisations on our steering committee:
Intereach, Pathways Murrumbidgee, Wagga Wagga City Council, headspace Wagga Wagga, Wellways, Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga Christian College, NSW Department of Education, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga, and Murrumbidgee Local Health District.

And most importantly, thank you to the amazing students and schools who took the time to reflect on how they can improve the wellbeing of their communities πŸ’›

Did you know all young people from 2 to 17 years of age in NSW are now eligible for the free nasal spray flu vaccine!

All young people from 2 to 17 years of age in NSW are now eligible for the free nasal spray flu vaccine.

Expanding eligibility aims to boost statewide vaccination rates and make it easier for families - especially those with children who dislike needles.

The nasal spray flu vaccine is gentle, painless and available for free for a limited time at GPs, Aboriginal Medical Services and pharmacies.

Influenza (flu) is serious but isn’t as scary if you’re vaccinated. A flu vaccine offers you and your child the best protection from serious illness.
