TRAC Pathways to Possibility.
School Based Apprenticeships are a wonderful pathway for students who wish to explore their futures whilst completing an HSC. Students undertaking a School Based Apprenticeship will do the following:
1. A Certificate III qualification as part of a School Based Traineeship
2. Working part time with an employer as part of a School Based Traineeship
3. Completing enough ATAR eligible subjects to receive an ATAR
4. HSC certificate
Over the next few Mondays we will celebrate four students who have completed their School Based Apprenticeships early, an amazing effort.
We as a school community are so very proud of them.
It is with great pleasure that we celebrate and congratulate Jorja Vergano (Year 12) on her qualification achievement as part of her HSC studies. Jorja has successfully completed CHC30221 Certificate III in School Based Education Support in week 1 of Term 3. This is a significant accomplishment and is representative of Jorja’s dedication and hard work. Jorja attended virtual classes once a week across Year 11 and 12 and then completed independent studies of this vocational course as part of her HSC subjects. Work placement enabled Jorja to practically apply her learning. This has given Jorja the confidence and real life experience in this industry with future prospective employers.
Jorja can now gain employment within school settings to support students with their learning whilst she pursues her own higher education aspirations to study Bachelor of Primary Education.
Well done Jorja!

We are delighted to invite families to celebrate two special events: Book Week Parade and Grandparents Day.
This year's Book Week theme, "Symphony of Stories," will come to life as students dress as their favourite book characters and join our annual parade. Adding to the festivities, some of our talented music students will provide a musical backdrop during and after the parade, helping to create a wonderful celebration of stories and imagination.
Following the parade, grandparents and friends are warmly invited to join students in their classrooms to share in a range of activities, including reading together, playing games and participating in classroom learning experiences. The morning will conclude with a special Grandparents Day Morning Tea for our visitors.
We look forward to welcoming grandparents and celebrating the important role they play in our students' lives, while sharing a joyful morning of books, music and community.
