This is so much more than preparing meals it's about creating positive food experiences, encouraging healthy eating habits and becoming a special part of our children's day. Every meal you prepare helps fuel learning, laughter and growing little minds.

🕗 Position Details

Permanent Part-Time
Monday to Friday
8:00am – 2:00pm
No evenings. No weekends. No late-night finishes.

Our menus have already been thoughtfully developed, giving you an excellent foundation while allowing flexibility to incorporate seasonal produce, children's interests and your own creative flair.

🍓 We're Looking For Someone Who:
• Loves preparing fresh, nutritious and delicious meals.
• Holds relevant Food Safety/Food Handling qualifications.
• Has a current Working with Children Check (or is willing to obtain one).
• Is organised, reliable and takes pride in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen.
• Enjoys working collaboratively within a supportive team.
• Brings warmth, positivity and kindness to every interaction.
• Understands that food is an important part of children's learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging.

🍽️ Your Day Will Include:
• Preparing nutritious meals and snacks including morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack.
• Working alongside our leadership team to maintain and review our rotating seasonal menus.
• Catering for allergies, dietary requirements and cultural needs with care and attention.
• Maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene standards.
• Supporting children's curiosity by involving them in age-appropriate cooking experiences whenever possible.
• Helping create positive mealtime experiences that children genuinely look forward to.

On Saturday 8th November, 22 of our Educators from Estella and Turvey Park travelled to Sydney to attend the Excellence in Early Childhood Education Awards.
