The judges have decided and the results are in!! First prize for our eggs, such clever chooks! And third prize for the children’s art, such talented kiddios who we are incredibly proud of. What a fantastic event to or a part of. We are so excited 😆

Our clever Chooks have also been busy getting ready for the Wagga Show! 12 lovely eggs to be judged. Fingers crossed 🤞

“It is with pleasure, gratitude, and excitement that Wagga Anglican Preschools announce we have been successful in our application for a grant under the NSW Department of Education 2022 Start Strong Capital Works Grants Program to undertake a new build and deliver 60 new preschool places in the northern suburbs of Wagga Wagga.
The development is a collaboration between the Anglican Parish of Wagga Wagga, Anglican Diocese of Canberra Goulburn, and CSU Education Faculty with the preschool providing valuable observation and training opportunities for studying early childhood teachers.
Our new preschool will be set in natural bush land, and we will be creating a space that compliments the natural landscape. Children will have constant access to nature, and the many benefits of nature play. We will work with the land to create a truly special environment for children to play, think and learn together.
The new development will also incorporate our preschool St Mary’s Rainbow Preschool which is currently located on a flood plain.
Our existing St Mary’s Rainbow Preschool site will be utilised by young children and their families for the generations to come. It is an important historical and community site, and we envisage that children and families will continue to play and learn together on the land in the years ahead. The Anglican Parish of Wagga Wagga will continue our stewardship of the land in North Wagga, and it will be utilised for the support and benefit of community members, including young and old.
The NSW DEC 2022 Start Strong Capital Works Grant is $4.5 million dollars (Ext GST) and will support our commitment to increase our existing preschool places from 90 children per day at our St Luke’s and St Mary’s Rainbow Preschools, to 150 children per day in our Anglican Preschools. St Luke’s and St Mary’s Rainbow Preschools have been providing excellent preschool education for the children of Wagga Wagga for over 60 years and we are thrilled to be able to provide more children the opportunity to access our preschool programs well into the future.” Jodie Coles Wagga Anglican Preschools Manager
