Year 9-11 students participated in a two day Data, Drones and Directions program introducing them to a career in surveying.
Students explored how modern surveying combines data, drones, digital technology and traditional measurement techniques to help shape the world around us.
The program also highlighted the range of pathways into the profession, including School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBAT), TAFE and other VET programs, as well as university-level qualifications.

On Friday of Week 5, the Marian Centre was transformed into a global conference centre that saw 26 delegates from 13 countries come together to tackle some of the problems facing our global community.
Throughout the day, students gained valuable insight into the complexities and challenges of finding solutions that meet the needs of a range of stakeholders. The day challenged students through a series of debates, negotiations and crisis management scenarios.
It was a valuable and engaging experience that provided students with a deeper understanding of the challenges involved in addressing global issues and the importance of cooperation in finding meaningful solutions.

Congratulations to Year 7 student Rhys Elliott who has achieved national recognition in the creative writing secondary category of the 2026 Nagle Prize competition.
His winning entry was on display at the recent NEAA leadership conference in Perth.

The latest career pathways theme explores the Wanderers career pathway - careers where travel is core to how the work gets done.
Students will discover roles across health, adventure, mining, media, trade, events, and technical fields, from sports physiotherapists touring with teams to geologists on remote mining sites.

Rugby 7s
The South West slopes Rugby 7s competition was held recently with both boys' and girls' teams taking part.
Our Year 7/8 and Year 9/10 boys' teams had mixed results throughout the day, while the Open Boys' secured the Tom Cusack Shield after a grandfinal win against Kildare 19-10.
Our Year 7/8 girls finished 2nd with the Year 9/10 girls finishing the day with 2 wins and 2 losses.
Congratulations to all teams on a fantastic day of competition.!

Our Junior and Opens Girls Netball teams recently travelled to Penrith to compete in the NSWCCC Carnival.
Congratulations to our Junior Girls team who placed third in Pool A.
Congratulations to our Opens Girls, who had a fantastic day of competition before defeating St Mary Star of the Sea Wollongong 18โ13 in the grand final. ๐ NSWCCC Champions!
