Charles Sturt University’s Girls in Cyber Security Advancing (GiCSA) program has finished but it continues to gain national recognition.

After winning the 2019 Women in Security Award in the category of ‘Best Higher Education Program for Young Ladies in Security’ and being the 2nd Runner-up of the 2020 Asia-Pacific Triple E Awards ‘Entrepreneurship and Engagement Excellence Awards in Higher Education’ in the category of ‘Community Engagement Initiative of the Year’, the Girls in Cyber Security Advancing (GiCSA) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kk3QJVb1B3U program has been nominated for the Australian Information Security Association (AISA) ‘Best STEM promoter of the year’. As part of our program, GiCSA will be running the Leadership and Entrepreneurship Workshop for those girls who have made it to Phase 3. Due to the COVID-19 situation, the workshop will be conducted online and will be facilitated by Illuminate Education Australia.
