Kildare and Mater Dei Boarders are looking forward to their Annual Mixed Trivia Night next week. It will be a fun event!

Help shape the national conversation around boarding school for rural & remote families.

We know every family's boarding school journey is different, and every experience matters.

The Boarding School Collective is inviting past, current and prospective boarding families from rural, regional and remote Australia to take part in the Australian Rural & Remote Boarding School Family Survey.

The findings will help inform national conversations around boarding education, support advocacy for rural and remote families, and provide valuable evidence for the Spirit of the Bush Scholarship Foundation.

The survey takes around 5 minutes to complete.

Kildare and Mater Dei's Boarding House in the heart of Wagga Wagga - Mount Erin Boarding House (MEBS) offers a weekly Boarding programme that punches way beyond its weight. What do our Boarders do after school? Monday to Thursday - too many things to list here, but see some of what our Boarders can access after school. Learning in Residence is a fantastic programme to support our young people in their academic and not so academic studies. Come and take a tour with the Head of Boarding.

The winning team of the Annual MEBS Mixed Touch Football Tournament were presented with the coveted trophy and their medals at dinner this week. The winning team was Tilley, Laura, Harrison, Jeremy, Jett and Billy. Also receiving a medal for a job well done was Ashley for refereeing. Congratulations to all involved.

Mount Erin’s Annual Mixed Touch Football Tournament is happening this afternoon. Great fun followed by “footy cuisine” in readiness for the State of Origin after study.
Winners of the Touch Football Tournament get to claim the 2026 Trophy and each receive a medal.

Staff Spirituality Day saw Kildare staff tour MEBS as well as Erin Earth and the Heritage Centre. It was great time to celebrate the outstanding legacy of the Presentation Sisters - Mount Erin boarding School would not have been here without them.
A special time.
