Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of celebrating some of the very special people in our childrenโ€™s lives. We welcomed fathers, grandfathers, mothers and other special people into our centre for a beautiful afternoon of connection, laughter and, most importantly, a chance for the children to say โ€œI love you.โ€ ๐Ÿฅฐ

It was so special to see the excitement on the childrenโ€™s faces as they welcomed their loved ones into their learning environment and proudly showed them around. For many of our children, this meant taking their special visitors to the places they love most โ€” with lots of adventures happening in the sandpit, climbing high on the playground and showing off some amazing monster truck tricks! ๐Ÿšœ๐Ÿ’จ

The afternoon was filled with smiles, conversations, cuddles and plenty of opportunities for our children to share their world with the people who mean so much to them. Watching them proudly demonstrate their favourite activities and invite their loved ones into their play was truly heartwarming. ๐Ÿ’™

Our afternoon tea was a wonderful opportunity to slow down, enjoy each otherโ€™s company and celebrate the important relationships that surround and support our children every day. These connections are such an important part of childrenโ€™s sense of belonging, identity and wellbeing.

A very big thank you to all of the special people who joined us and helped make the afternoon so memorable. We loved sharing this special time with you and seeing the joy it brought to our children. ๐Ÿฅฐ

Happy Fatherโ€™s Day to all the wonderful fathers, grandfathers and special people who make our children feel loved, supported and celebrated. ๐Ÿ’™

Today was filled with sunshine, smiles and the simple joys of childhood. Each child arrived ready for another amazing day, and we headed off calmly, cool and collected towards one of our favourite spots โ€” our beloved broccoli tree! ๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿ’š

Some children stayed close to the trolleys, helping to set up the mat and create our little outdoor space, while others couldnโ€™t wait to climb straight up the tree and explore. ๐ŸŒฟ

We didnโ€™t wander far today, but there was plenty to discover. Some children carefully made beautiful daisy-chain hats ๐ŸŒผ, while others excitedly chased dragonflies as they danced through the sunshine. ๐Ÿชฐโ˜€๏ธ

It was one of those beautiful days where we were reminded that children donโ€™t need much to have meaningful experiences โ€” just time, space, nature and the freedom to explore.

A day spent slowing down, connecting with nature and enjoying the simple things. ๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŒฟโœจ

๐ŸŒฟ What a beautiful day of nature learning! ๐ŸŒผ

We were so grateful that the rain held off today, giving us plenty of time to explore to our heartsโ€™ desire. There was so much to discover, with a beautiful moth catching the attention of many curious little explorers. ๐Ÿฆ‹

We picked some pretty little flowers, climbed our favourite logs, and enjoyed plenty of outdoor adventures. One of the highlights of the day was running through the tall, wavy grass! The children would bob down so no one could see them, before suddenly jumping up and shouting, โ€œBOO!โ€ ๐Ÿ˜„๐ŸŒพ

Another wonderful day spent connecting with nature, building confidence, sharing laughter and creating special friendships along the way. ๐Ÿ’š

๐Ÿ“šโœจ Book Week Fun! โœจ๐Ÿ“š

And what a fun week it was! We were surrounded by endless creativity, imagination and excitement as the children dressed up as their favourite book characters and brought their costumes to life. ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ“–

Our Kinder children were lucky enough to head to Peranbin Primary College to join in their Book Week Parade, where they proudly showed off their fabulous costumes and joined in a special Book Week activity.

We enjoyed reading one of this yearโ€™s nominees, Derek, before getting creative and making our very own colourful fish! ๐ŸŸ๐ŸŽจ

There were smiles, laughter and joy throughout the week as the children shared their costumes, stories and imaginative play with one another. It was wonderful to see their personalities and creativity shine through! ๐Ÿ’›

What a magical week celebrating the wonderful world of books and imagination! ๐Ÿ“š๐ŸŒˆโœจ

โœจ What a magical day! โœจ

There was so much imagination in the air, and endless opportunities for adventure! ๐Ÿš‚๐Ÿ—๏ธ๐Ÿš›

We became busy train drivers, built monster truck ramps, and even worked together to fix a broken-down ship while being surrounded by sharks! ๐Ÿฆˆ Our careful climbers reminded themselves, โ€œCareful and slow, careful and slow,โ€ as they explored and challenged themselves.

The children soaked up every moment of the sunshine, enjoying the freedom to explore, create, imagine and learn through play. โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’›

And just to add even more magic to our dayโ€ฆ we went on a Bear Hunt! ๐Ÿป๐ŸŒฟ

We travelled through the tall, windy grass, climbed over the mound, stepped across branches and made our way over the flat plains. Finally, we found the bear hiding high up in a tree! ๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿป

It truly was the perfect day for connecting with nature and embracing learning outdoors. The children had a brilliant time, and their imaginations took us on the most wonderful adventures. ๐Ÿ’šโœจ

๐Ÿ”ฌ๐ŸŒŸ Science Week ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ”ฌ
While science and discovery are part of our everyday learning throughout the year, Science Week gave our children a special opportunity to focus more deeply on investigating, experimenting and asking those wonderful โ€œwhy?โ€ and โ€œwhat if?โ€ questions.

๐ŸŒฑ Throughout the year, our children naturally explore science through everyday experiences and play โ€” observing plants and insects, exploring the weather, watching how things grow and change, investigating sand and water, noticing shadows, mixing colours, building and balancing, and learning about the world around them.

During Science weekโ€ฆ.
๐Ÿช Kinder explored reactions by making lava lamps, observing movement and changes and talking about what they could see.

๐Ÿš€ Daycare travelled into space, creating their own planets and learning about space, stars and our solar system.

Science Week is a special celebration of science learning, curiosity and discovery. It gives children the opportunity to explore, investigate, ask questions and experiment through hands-on experiences, while celebrating the amazing science that happens in our everyday lives. ๐Ÿ”ฌ๐ŸŒฑโœจ

And, of course, the learning doesn't stop when Science Week ends โ€” our little scientists will continue exploring, questioning and discovering all year round! ๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŒ
