Pelican, our custom expedition vessel began her sea trials today! It was a celebration of the care and contributions of so many people over the years, indeed that would be a very long list.. from the original fundraising efforts in Boonah, action learning programs with all our skippers, the support from friends, and the hard work of the Pelican Slipways crew. Many of the original crew were on board, such as Thomas who helped lay up the hull, Kieron whose beautiful timber work gleamed in the sunset, Bryn our test pilot, and Brendan - who took the helm on completing her to a very high standard, and has improved the design for our purposes. We can offer boat building programs for our partner agencies.

Samford Valley Steiner School Class 11 students took the helm this week, navigating Quandamooka waters, camping and learning on country with Matty Burns and Blue Peter skippers. Great job!

An epic program of sea kayaking, hiking and sailing for Brisbane Boys College Year 9 students was conducted on Quandamooka country last week.
In the words of our skippers "Lots of respect and camaraderie, these fellas bring honour to their school".
