The South Australian Whale Centre is a museum in Victor Harbor that educates and inspires visitors to protect and embrace the local marine environment. Visitors can experience the natural wonders of the deep, explore the world heritage listed railway building, and gain further knowledge about Victor Harbor and South Australia's marine treasures. The South Australian Whale Centre is owned by the City of Victor Harbor.

Hold onto your hats, it might be windy, but the whales are putting on a show along our coastline this weekend!

🐳🐳2:55pm: 2 whales spotted breaching out from Boettcher Road, Middleton. Heading west.

🐳🐳12:40pm: Mum and calf, Anu and Logan, spotted 1400m south near Frenchman Rock. Logan rolling and flipper slaps.

🐳🐳11:18am: Mum and calf spotted loafing left of Frenchman Rock.

🐳🐳🐳🐳9:40am: Two Mum and Calf pairs reported near Basham Rise, out from Encounter Cresent, Middleton (unconfirmed).

🐳🐳 3:00pm Mum and calf pair still at Basham Beach/Frenchman Rock, Middleton. Playing on surface, few little blows.

🐳🐳 2:10pm Mum and calf pair are still out from Bashams Beach, Middleton. East of Frenchman Rock.

🐳🐳1:15pm Blows and up on the surface, intermittently, left of Frenchman's rock, Port Elliot.

🐳🐳 11:27am Whales are reported at Basham Beach, Middleton.
A short distance out, sitting blow the surface and a few blows seen.

🐳 11:00am Blowhole Beach, Deep Creek National Park.
Whale reported, possible Humpback, 10k west seen breaching, tail and flipper slaps.

🐳🐳1:00pm: A suspected Humpback Whale spotted near the Causeway Jetty, Victor Harbor. Heading northeast. Spotted by Victor Harbor Horse Drawn Tram
