Win Big for VSCCA!
The VSCCA is excited to again offer families and friends of the school the chance to win a brand new car in the Scouts Victoria Monster Raffle - all while helping fundraise for new equipment that makes a difference every day for our students.

First prize is a Suzuki Swift Hybrid GL 1.2L CVT 5 door hatch (RRP $29,584), with 84 prizes in total valued at $54,474.

Tickets are $2 each and can be purchased online at https://scoutsvic.raffletix.com.au/vermontsc.

Every ticket sold puts funds straight back into VSC, helping provide the resources and opportunities our students enjoy.

Last year’s raffle raised $4300 for the school (ranked #8 in Victoria!) and a number of members of our school community won prizes - can we do better this year?

Prizes will be drawn and winners notified on 25 November 2026.

Thanks for your support!

Breakfast Club and Community Focus Day!

Did you know our school offers Breakfast Club for students every morning before school? Our most popular day is Toastie Thursday, with students shown here enjoying their toasties before our free dress Community Focus Day.
This term's student run Community Focus Day is supporting UsherKids, with the many activities being run throughout the day.

Last week, our Film Crew students grabbed their cameras and headed outdoors to document some of the exciting changes happening around VSC.
With the school grounds being prepared for new planting, students captured the transformation from behind the lens. They then came back together and edited their footage in a single session — developing their filming, editing and storytelling skills along the way.

We are proud to present the recent addition to our school - a First Nations mural by Merindah Gunya.

The mural features the school colours, the connecting circles represent the student journey through the school and the diversity of the students within those year levels. The circle on the right represents the whole school community and its' meeting place, with the lower circle showing the journey line for the Bunjil creation story.

Following the painting of the mural, the artist hosted a Q&A session for our student leaders, where she shared information about her journey, First Nations culture, and wider lessons for our community.

Thank you to the VCE VM classes for creating a proposal and fundraising for the beautiful mural, and to our Film Club students for capturing these photos.

Over term 2, a group of Years 8–10 students have been working in the Global Design Challenge alongside our international partner school, SRM in India, to design sustainable eco-houses exploring clean energy, water management, waste reduction and sustainable transport. This week, we were thrilled to welcome our SRM teammates to Melbourne for a fantastic day of collaboration, STEM and hands-on learning at both VSC and KIOSC, Swinburne University.

Many thanks to teachers and staff for making our guests feel so welcome.
