What a wonderful afternoon celebrating Book Week together!

A huge congratulations to all of our students who dressed up and helped make the day so much fun. Your creativity, enthusiasm and love of books made the celebration extra special.

A very big thank you also goes to Mrs Lucy Starkey and Mrs Shannon Watson for their incredible efforts in creating the staff costumes. Your hard work, creativity and sense of fun certainly added to the excitement of the afternoon.

50 years of deadly!

Veresdale Scrub State School along with the small schools cluster proudly celebrated NAIDOC Week by recognising the strength, resilience and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our students embraced the opportunity to learn, connect and celebrate culture together.

🌈 PLAYGROUP IS NOW ON MONDAY MORNINGS! 🌈

Come along and join us for Veresdale Scrub State School Playgroup — a relaxed and welcoming morning for our littlest community members and their families.

Playgroup is FREE and open to all children from birth to school age. It’s a great opportunity for children to play, explore, socialise and become familiar with the school environment, while parents and carers can meet and connect with other local families.
